We organise bespoke return and logistics processes – using our own transport solutions where required. This enables us to efficiently collect worn workwear. Each package is assigned a unique code. Digital stock management and monitoring via a dashboard make the entire process transparent and traceable.
We check all items for their condition, level of soiling and any damage. They are then categorised into three classifications: as a rule, the textiles are reusable once they have been processed by WKS. Items that cannot be processed by WKS are then sent on for either upcycling or recycling.
We clean the textile items professionally. We use ozone treatments for disinfection and odour removal. We carry out repairs according to damage categories. The result: the garments are restored in line with corporate standards.
We store the processed items or, if required, dispatch them directly to customers’ premises or end consumers. The method of presentation (hanging or flat-packed) can be arranged according to the customer’s requirements.
Our mission is to bring all textiles back into the cycle. Depending on their condition, we ensure that workwear that can no longer be used is put to a new purpose: it is either upcycled or recycled. Items made from high-quality fabrics are transformed into new premium products such as bags, accessories, patches or garments – an upcycling process that increases the material’s value and prevents waste. Textiles that are completely unusable undergo a recycling process with our partners – ideally, this involves fibre-to-fibre recycling.
This involves mechanical or chemical recycling to convert the components back into secondary raw materials. The transparent platform provides proof of recovery via QR codes and CO₂ documentation.
