WKS Textilveredlungs-GmbH was founded in 1963 in Wilsum, Lower Saxony, a formerly renowned textile centre near the Dutch border. In Wilsum, a team of specialists offers the full range of WKS’s services across a site covering 18,000 square metres: raw material and component logistics, quality assurance and accompanying laboratory tests, repairs to yard goods, inspections and reconditioning of finished garments, laundry and dry cleaning, logistics for online shops and returns processing, as well as innovative concepts for second-hand and rental models.

In the accredited laboratory, operated jointly with the Eurofins Group in Wilsum, physical and chemical laboratory tests of all kinds can be carried out.

Since 2005, WKS Hungary has been a key logistics hub in Debrecen, ideally situated within the logistics network to serve production sites across Eastern Europe.

Supply chain management, optimising the flow of goods, shortening lead times and reducing costs are the objectives we work towards together with our customers.

For more than 12 years, WKS, with its base in the Dominican Republic, has been offering European customers excellent access to a (still) relatively unknown sourcing market with fast connections to European seaports and interesting commercial opportunities. The main focus of our activities is the operation of a laundry and dyeing facility. However, we also offer production monitoring and quality assurance to interested customers. For the US market, we also operate a repair centre for finished garments here.

For many years, Turkey has been one of the key sourcing markets for the clothing industry in the European region. In Istanbul, we have been offering our customers inspections of fabric by the metre and associated laboratory tests, inspections of finished garments, and the picking of fabric by the metre and finished garments for many years.

Since 2019, WKS has been offering on-site and mobile inspections of precast components in accordance with the AQL standard at its Rades site in Tunisia. This site is located under the same roof as Meyer&Meyer, thereby ensuring a swift and seamless integration of inspection services with storage and transport to the customer.

For over 20 years, WKS in Prato has been offering a comprehensive range of services to our customers operating in the Italian procurement market. In addition to overseeing the inspection of fabric by the metre at our partner Movimoda, our local agency also provides support with the sourcing of outer fabric grades and finished garments, as well as monitoring of logistics processes.
